Visa!

The visa process is complicated as is, never mind having to deal with everything brought on with COVID. After months of waiting and scheduling and rescheduling, I finally got mine!

After receiving my confirmation of studies from the university, I had to fill out an online application for my visa through the UK immigration services. Then they require you to attend a biometrics appointment, where your fingerprints and picture are taken. These are used to create a biometric residence permit, which I'll collect from the university once I'm in Scotland. Then everything, including my passport, is shipped to the UK embassy for approval, after which they put an entry clearance visa sticker in my passport and I'm all set to travel to the UK! Now all that's left is to book my flight!!
